This tour to Alnwick Castle takes us over the Scottish border to England. Northumberland was a part of Scotland in the 12th century. Alnwick Castle is home to the Duke of Northumberland and was used recently as Hogwarts for the Harry Potter movies.
Alnwick castle also featured in Robin Hood Prince of thieves. Alnwick Castle is one of the largest castles in the U.K, so we do not rush this visit.
If time permits, we can visit Bamburgh Castle or Lindisfarne Castle on Holy island.
